Arman Gazi Endo vs. Implants
WS Sponsor: Dentsply & Maillefer
Topic: Initial negotiation of a root canal, and how to avoid and solve the initial complications
Modern endodontics evolves very fast. Thanks to industrial technology, we have more and more effective files today, making endodontic treatment less and less « operator driven »
We know that too often technology and most tools serve only during the second phase of the endodontic treatment, which is the shaping phase. We must not overlook the first phase: the preflaring (Pre-enlargement, Exploration, creation of the Glide Path…) remains an essential and inescapable phase in the success of the treatment.
The success of the phase of preflaring is going to allow us to achieve an optimal shaping of the canal, without missteps or complications. This first essential phase is a part of traditional endodontics and we often overlook it.
We will also discuss the new file « Wave. One GOLD » which currently satisfies the demand in modern endodontic technology.
The purpose of this presentation, supported by clinical cases, is to simplify this phase of preflaring, and to explain the origin of most of the endododntic complications that may come up during a treatment, and especially how to solve them.
